Welcome to the Hillesden House Rest Home service information pages. We are the premier providers of Residential Care for the Elderly. Our goal is to provide you the very best in your retirement. 

Our quality control standards are high. Our care staff are among the best in elderly residential care.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance. 

SERVICES

Television.

We have three lounges in which you can sit, two of which have a television, or if you prefer not to watch the television, we have a quiet lounge.

Entertainment.

We have regular in-house entertainment including, passive exercise to music, an accordion player, activity afternoons, including craft sessions and board games etc., on Monday Wednesday and Friday, bingo on Saturday afternoons and reminiscence afternoons.

Library.

The County library visit on a bimonthly basis, and are happy to take requests for any books, tape books or video’s you may require.

Religion.

Regular services take place within the home which you are welcome to join in if you wish.

Hairdressing.

A hairdresser visits weekly for wash & sets, cuts and perms, the cost is as follows £4.00 Wash & Set, £6.00 Cut & Set, Perm £14.00

Shopping.

The staff are quite happy to purchase shopping for you at your request if it is difficult for you to go out.

Fire.

There are weekly fire alarm tests that you will be informed of before they sound. If you discover a fire, sound the alarm, and await further instruction. Please do exactly as you are asked by the staff or Fire Service. Try to remain calm and do not panic. Under no circumstances put your life at risk.

Insurance.

Any valuable or treasured items bought into the home will require to be insured, please inform the Care Manager of the items and discuss the cover required.
