Accomodation

Residents are accommodated on the ground and first floor, with a stair lift available for those who have difficulty using the stairs.

We have six single ground floor rooms, one of which is bed sit accommodation. On the first floor we have eight single rooms, one of which has private en-suite and four shared rooms. All rooms have washing facilities and most rooms have toilets attached.

All rooms in the house have a nurse call point connected to the main nurse call system which has five display panels around the home which allow the staff a one minute response time.

All rooms are comfortably furnished, however if you wish to bring your own furniture to the home you are welcome to do so, as long as the relevant fire regulations are complied with.

Hillesden House is registered with the National Care Standards Commission for 22 residents of the following categories: (OP) (DE(E)) (MD)

At Hillesden you can expect the right to privacy within your own room. This will be respected by all staff.

Throughout the building we have 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, both hoist assisted, and ten toilets for residents use.

We are also totally flexible on your choice of how you spend your day, including rising and retiring times, meal times, and whether or not you wish to attend any activities, outings or entertainment within the home.

Considering your preferences we will make assessments and together with yourself, we will draw up a care plan which best suits your needs.
